Ceramic foams present special features that do not have the corresponding dense materials and hence they are widely used in a broad variety of applications. Titania has exceptional photoinduced properties with applications membranes, bioceramics photocatalysis photovoltaics. However, applications, anatase phase is more active, but sintering at high temperatue leads to transformation rutile. The maintenance would require low temperatures leading lack consistency very weak struts. To avoid this problem possible alternative produce sintered rutile coat strut walls nanoparticles anatase. This simple method. In work obtained by replica method after full optimization rheological behaviour titania suspensions subsequently infiltrated colloidal suspension either vaccuum or using microwaves. foam can be 650 °C while maintaining phase.
